Zi Wei Gao Zhao, the purple star astrology is a form of fortune-telling in Chinese culture. ' zi wei ' is a prominent star that is approximately aligned with the Earth's axis of rotation. It is used as the coordinate to chart the sky. This drawing is an experiment of deriving imagery by integrating Buddhist symbols, characters in the ancient myth legend, Chinese auspicious patterns and my contemplation on present everyday life, fanciful creatures and ancient ancestors.
